Beyond the Classroom Coaching, LLC was inspired by my own struggles when pursuing a career outside of teaching. On top of feeling lost in the transition process, I had immense guilt leaving my school and students, as well as, anxiety about expectations for a job that doesn’t require you to be “on” all day.

I don’t want any other teacher to feel the way I did. With my experience in career services, academic coaching, and instructional design, I wanted to create a service for transitioning teachers that is personalized and affordable.

Many other coaching services are an expensive, one-time purchase of sessions or courses. I feel that one session or a series of courses are not enough for transitioning teachers, as parts of the service may not meet your needs. This subscription-based service is made to support you, wherever you are at.

It takes time to build up the confidence to leave, create an action plan, update your resume, apply, interview, and negotiate salary. Even after an offer is accepted, there are struggles when settling into your new role, navigating your new work-life balance, and managing the emotions you have post-classroom. My service provides you with virtual coaching through emails, voice memos, videos, document sharing, appointments, and group coaching sessions, so you can receive coaching anytime, anywhere.
